This Autumn a book on the parish detailing its history from the earliest records through to modern times will be published.

It is quite fascinating that such a small parish which has never had a large population can have had such an interesting past. From the Norman origins of the church, through Launceston Priory ownership to the Reformation, the coming of the railway through the parish, the emigration to America of so many local families and then many stories of the people and families who have lived here over the centuries.
